How do I earn points?

Earning points is easy. All point-earning activities can be found on the Activities page.

Sylvan’s education experts update the content every month, so you’ll know you’re getting relevant, high-quality resources you can trust AND you earn more points for checking them out. You can always go to the “What’s New” section for any featured updates.

Where can I find how many points I have?

Your points are shown in the top right-hand corner of the website. You can always see the full history of your activity and rewards at the bottom of the homepage.

I signed up for an Academic Checkup. When can I expect my points?

Your Sylvan Nation team is working around the clock to make your Sylvan Nation experience the very best it can be! But, it can take a few weeks to validate activities that occur in our centers. Please be patient. We promise your 1,000 points for this activity will be reflected in your “Activity History” within 1–2 weeks. Note – points are only awarded for assessments that take place after your Sylvan Nation Member join date.

I enrolled in a Sylvan Program. When can I expect my points?

We’re so excited you’re part of the Sylvan family! We’d love to reward your 3,000 points for your new enrollment in a qualifying Sylvan Tutoring, Academic Coaching, Advancement or Test Prep program for your child. This perk only applies to enrollments after your Sylvan Nation Member join date.

Please be patient with us, as it may take 1–2 weeks to confirm your enrollment with the center. Once we do, you will see your rewarded points in the “Activity History” section on the homepage.

I ordered a Sylvan workbook. How long will it take for it to arrive?

Congrats on earning a Sylvan workbook! Please allow 2–3 weeks for our team to carefully pack and ship your workbook.

Where are my points?

In most instances, your points should be available on your Sylvan Nation profile within twenty-four (24) hours. Points for the Academic Checkup and Signing up for a Sylvan Program take 1-2 weeks due to our validation process to show in your account.

You can check the points in your account anytime on the “Activity History” at the bottom of the home page, or by emailing Sylvan Nation Customer Service at SylvanNation@SylvanLearning.com.

How do I redeem my rewards?

Once you have enough points to redeem a reward, simply select the reward, click the “Continue” button located on the reward detail page, and then follow the checkout instructions.

You will receive a confirmation email when the transaction is complete.

Digital and gift card rewards will be included on the confirmation page as well as your “Reward History” on the homepage, while any physical or other rewards will be mailed out to the address you provided. A link will be sent to any member that redeems one of the gift card rewards available with instructions on how to redeem. In the event we need to provide you with further instructions, you will receive a separate email from a Sylvan Nation representative.

Note – if your reward is a download, it will appear in your Reward History for easy reference.

How many rewards can I redeem at once?

You may redeem multiple rewards one at a time. Some rewards are limited to a certain number of redemptions per user, so please read the additional information located within each reward detail page.

Do any rewards I’ve redeemed have expiration dates?

Yes, some rewards may expire. Be sure to check the details when selecting your reward for all additional info.

Can I return a reward I redeemed?

If you change your mind about a reward you’ve redeemed, you will not be able to return it.

What if I lost my username and password?

Click the “Forgot password” link on the Sign In page or contact the Sylvan Nation Customer Service team at SylvanNation@SylvanLearning.com for assistance.

Who can I contact with questions about my account?

As a member, you have a dedicated customer service email at SylvanNation@SylvanLearning.com. Please allow 24–48 hours to respond. In the meantime, feel free to read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Do my points expire?

If you continue to sign in to your account, your points will continue to accumulate and will not expire. However, if you do not sign in to your account within 4 years, Sylvan Nation reserves the right to deactivate your profile or expire unused points. It is your responsibility to monitor your loyalty account and points status.

If my membership is cancelled or terminated, what happens to the points that I already earned?

If your membership is cancelled or terminated, points and benefits in your Sylvan Nation account will automatically terminate. We will advise you of the effective date of termination.
